Knowde, a leading digital marketplace for ingredients, polymers and chemistry, was looking to provide more relevant, timely, and personalized search experiences for their customers. Following a MACH approach to composable commerce, we implemented a powerful new search system that supports:
- multi-stage, concept-oriented search;
- query expansion with domain-specific knowledge graphs;
- intent classification and query understanding; and
- custom processing, segmentation and spelling corrections specific to the chemical industry.
The modernized search platform greatly improved search relevance and delivered a significant uplift in all customer engagement metrics.
